So supposedly Romney's support is due to a perception he will "fix the economy" - there is an ad

badly needed, but it has to be concise, impactful and simple.

First panel - chart of what Bush's 8 years did to the economy (using whatever metric best shows the disaster)

Second - chart of Obama's progress - 4 years of the fix starting. (ditto)

Third - comment must tie Romney's policies to Bush's, and show what will happen if Romney is elected - plot showing the reversal of progress and a return to the crash graph of Bush's years.

Maybe there have been variations of this, but it is a simple message that can get wordy/confusing quickly.

Maybe use imagery of driving a car - Bush years, driving the country off a cliff - Obama's years, put us on the road again...would you give the keys to the guy driving the car in the first place?

The MUST is to tie Romney's economic plan to Bush's approach. 8 years broke it, 4 years is fixing it - it would be madness to return to the way things were under Bush.

I think somehow any final ads would work best if they hammer this type of message home - but it must be clear, concise, and quick.
