The News Editorial Board is about as conservative as you can get. If the Free Press endorses Romney, then I'll worry. But the News always goes Republican.

And they are against the proposals for collective bargaining and renewable energy. Shit they don't even want home healthcare workers to have a right to unionize. They're the same broth of scum that the News is made up of. The only good person there is the editorial cartoonist.

I home delivered the rag back in the '50s. It was RW then. It's even worse today.

Thom Hartmann, take note: The Detroit News NEVER had a labor page. That was the Detroit Free Press. You've had your Detroit dailies confused for years. You may have grown up in Lansing, but you're flat out wrong on this one.

then I switched to the Free Press. (I'm afraid they're both owned by the same company now. Is that true?)

I wasn't surprised either when the Martinsburg (WV) Journal endorsed Romney. Blecch!

Michigan must be a strange place, voting in a GOP governor. when most of their work came from auto jobs. Perhaps it was a backlash over the terrible job losses, but now it appears to be simply cannibalizing itself.

Obama is trying to turn it around. I'm just going to chalk this up to conservative lack of thinking or Koch money paying for these endorsements. That's their style.

The GOP has NO ideas, period. They can't explain what they're doing because they aren't writing their own script.

Currently, the United States is on track to lower unemployment, improve the economy, strengthen the middle class, and end our overseas wars. Willard will change all of that.
