Romney's bluff will cost him dearly.

He has no business spending in Nevada ($500k???) and Wisconsin, yet he is. He dropping cash into the very expensive Boston media market so he can play in New Hampshire and he had Ryan parachute into the Pittsburgh are for a head fake. That's time and money no spent in Ohio where he does have a prayer of clawing his way ahead. It's time and cash not spent in Florida which is on a knife edge and their cockiness could easily cost them Colorado. If I were Romney, I would stay on Iowa, Ohio, Colorado and Ohio. But I guess he had to invest in order to give the MSMS the appearance that he has momentum.

$500k? He made that much just while sitting on the crapper this morning. (Reliable sources report that, yet again, none of his accumulated bullshit managed to get out.)

They barely look like they're trying. Their internal polls must be dismal. Oh, darn.

They know they have to move a number of states at this point, and don't have enough time to tackle them all. Their only hope is to move a bunch of them at the same time. How can you possibly do that? What they're trying to do is sell the idea to voters and the media that they're winning and even expanding the map, in hopes of keeping their supporters motivated, and deflating ours.

As long as we keep our head's up, keep our nose to the grindstone, and GOTV, we're in great shape.

It's all bluff. They are back to propping up downticket races. They threw their entire load at the post Debate_1 weeks, and it failed to gain the needed distance. What you're registering as "dumb strategy" is, in fact, the only strategy left. It would be dumb if they thought they could win. It's less dumb when you realize that they're only trying to salvage the House.

8. Listen to me. Other people's money

Romney has spent his whole life profiting from OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY. That is what private equity managers do. He never has any skin in the game. His exit plan is always guaranteed before the first move is made.

And it is exactly the same in this campaign. What does Romney care if he pisses away Adelson's money? Romney isn't going to run for any office again and Adelson probably wasn't going to be a Bain investor.

Now Karl Rove. That old boy has a serious problem if he doesn't win this election. He's got some serious 'splainin' to do to his billionaires because these are the same ones he needs to roll up on the next time out.

269 but to 270. He believes he has a shot at Maine's 2nd district and will be blanketing the area with ads. So, while it's a snowball's chance in hell, there is route for him to get to 270.

He has saturated the few ad markets left and he isn't going to leave any bucks behind.

Talk about wasted money, what about his 'transition' team costs, lol.
