Remember that humongous rock crystal necklace Ann Romney was wearing at the last debate?

Someone I follow posted this on Facebook. It looks like she got it from 1stdibs. 1stdibs is this extremely expensive online dealer collective for fine furniture, antiques and jewelry etc... The necklace wasn't one of the most expensive pieces I've seen on there but it aint cheap either. and I don't know why I'm posting this lol but here it is anyway. link to the FB page below the photo.

She's actually propping him up while he leans on her and waves delicate little twiddly winkles at someone in the audience.

In my opinion the necklace looks too big and bulky and it also looks like a crafts project for a third grader.

And yes, I noticed the necklace. I thought it was glass or something. Big, brassy and unattractive. The necklace, too!

is the best I've seen her look. It was age and venue appropriate and it's clear that green is her color.

But the bleed over into the skirt looks weird, particularly because the skirt doesn't have any of the teal of the top, but instead has a somewhat yellowish green.

What was the designer thinking?

Of course, Michelle looked smashing!

If Michelle Obama were to wear the same thing it would be the height of fashion. I like green, I like the dress, I think the necklace is a bit on the heavy looking side but other than that I think it compliments the dress nicely. And how much does this matter in the greater scheme of things? Let me tell you about what my dog had for dinner tonight.

I like the dress, and I'm even ok with the necklace. It's her personality I find ugly.
