If a woman is brutally raped, left for dead, and becomes pregnant as a result, she would be forced under the Republican plank to bring the child to term--against her will.
But if that same woman is carrying a gun and is approached by someone in a manner in which she feels 'threatened' she can cap the person, and would not be charged.

But in theory, yes, you do have the right to use deadly force against a born assailant. You do not have the right to protect yourself against an unborn assailant, which is what an unwanted pregnancy is, threatening a woman's health, livelihood, social support system and life.
These men seem to think that because a process is natural, it is risk free. It is not.
