So...conception from rape is "something that God intended." Ergo, the rapist is an instrument of God, and therefore blameless.
Reminds me of Jerry Falwell saying 9/11 was God's punishment for "the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way, all of them who have tried to secularize America."
Ergo, the 9/11 terrorists were instruments of God, and were therefore blameless.
See how that works?
It's a kind of magic.

(13,418 posts)Lucifer's work??? Making males rape? Are these people Devil Worshippers???
Start throwing the words, Lucifer, Satan, and Devil around about these RW creeps and they'll STFU.
And Mormons....the Fundy RW knows little about this religion. Maybe they like Satan every now and then when it is to their benefit.
I am surrounded by crazy Fundies. I love saying 'Satan' around them. It stops them in their tracks.

(17,301 posts)A rapist is in reality an instrument of evil and God is NOT suppose to be evil, so how can a result of rape be God's intention?
God intends for evil to flourish?
Oh you right-to-lifer Christians, always twisting logic and promoting Satan. Just like those right-to-lifer murders and bombers. Doing evil in service of Satan, I mean God. Oh my how Satan and God are so mixed together in a right-to-lifer's mind.

(28,979 posts)it isn't far from the public square where women get stoned for being raped. After all, the men could not be expected to control their impulses.

(12,504 posts)then how can anyone separate "God's Will" from the human factor when it comes to murder, dismemberment, torture, disease, illness, lying, cheating, loud and lavicious laughter, prostitution, working on the Sabbath, dishonoring parents, impregnating minors, the human sex slave trade and taking the Lards name in vain?

(24,780 posts)Satan is the source of all evil. If rape is evil, it comes from Satan. Therefore, how can a pregnancy from rape be God's will?

(33,688 posts)refuted religion with the most basic logic. It still remains true today. Core truths have a wat of doing that.
God is all-powerful.
God is perfectly good.
Evil exists.
If God exists, there would be no evil.
Therefore God does not exist.
-- Epicurus , his logical formmulation which we have dubbed the "Epicurean Riddle"; quoted from William Hart, Evil: A Primer (2004), pages 28-29
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?
-- David Hume, echoing the logical formulation that we have dubbed the "Epicurean Riddle"; quoted from William Hart, Evil: A Primer (2004), pages 28-29
BTW, I do not consider Buddhism to be a "religion" because it categorically rejects the notion of a godhead or a messiah.
