I'd have much more respect for Republicans

if just one of them would stand up and denounce all this "rape is God's will" bullshit, that there are different levels to rape (forcible or legitimate--I can only imagine what they say about date rape--That's not rape at all, is it fella's? We bought her dinner, that's just repayment). But no, they all sit idly by, seeing how badly it hurts them to go so far out on a limb.

I know some of them denounce these statements after the fact, but just once, it would be nice for a Republican to stand up and say, this is not what my party is about. But they can't do that, because this is exactly what their party has become.

What would entice one to presume any such pronouncement could possibly be heartfelt or genuine?....

They joined the Democratic Party when it went far enough Right to fit their political views.

these are people that think we would have won Vietnam. These are people that think we need to go back into Iraq and WIN! They blame their parties spending and creation of the national debt on Democrats! They they returning to Bush's policies will create an economic boom. From only caring about black people, FEMA camps, to lack of birth certificate, death panels, Obama economic disaster, Obama's apology tour, their get tough with China, social security going BANKRUPT.... when the fuck did any of this crap ever happen. I have zero respect for Republicans because they live in a fantasy world provided by FOX news and hate radio. Real negative stuff that happens to them they blame on foes that have no power to do what they think they are doing to them, meanwhile they fear mythical dragons that never, ever appear. They want to reelect the very people that crashed the US economy. They want to do this based on the fact the GOP spent 4 years voting against any policy that might remotely make their lives better. They want to reward people that on purpose vote in their government to make their lives worse so they will get made and blame someone else and put the people that make their lives worse back into power. Don't they get how badly the Republican party DOESN'T RESPECT THEM AT ALL? No, so why respect them either?
