She ended up becoming a stripper. She had been sexually abused by her father. She told her bishop and he covered it up. Nothing was done to help this girl.

Specifically, how the Church goes out of its way to "minister" to male child abusers in the state penitentiary. A friend of mine got excommunicated when her boyfriend got her pregnant, but it seems that men can abuse innocents and the Church doesn't care because, you know, it's the "priesthood."

I doubt it has to do with a child because that would be criminal not civil. I'm just doubting there is anything here because if the Boston Globe can find out about this is can't be too secretive as far as a case existing. Looking back at the primary Romney was the last person the Repubs wanted as their candidate so one of those guys could have gotten this thing stirred up. Gloria took down Cain. If there was anything there at the time wouldn't she have also taken down Romney and just cleaned house? Imagine her taking out 2 candidates within weeks of each other. The republicans would have been in a shambles and would have never ever recovered. We might not have even had to have an election at all they would have been in such turmoil.
