It is such a good reminder.

I always tell my kids that it's ok if people don't like you--some won't and that's all right.

I also tell them that if everyone likes them, that they're probably not being themselves. Be yourself. Express yourself. You won't win a popularity contest this way, but you get to live an authentic life.
