These debates have supercharged our campaign, there's no question about it, Romney said. We're seeing more and more enthusiasm, more and more support."

PS - it is just comical that Sheldon is forcing RMoney to come to Nevada when he won't win it and he really should be in Ohio.....and Virginia.....and Florida......and New Hampshire......and Wisconsin.

(2,770 posts)If elected, Paul Ryan and I, and the Republican team, will work to restore strength to America," blah, blah, and blah.
The email goes on to ask for more money.
Isn't this message just full of fired-up, super-charged enthusiasm?
Seriously. I've never seen such a loser campaign message, ever. Romney (and his people) couldn't even be bothered with the usual spin - Wasn't I GREAT last night? Don't you think I put Obama in his place? Did you notice how I absolutely dazzled the audience with my style? Didn't I pass the C-in-C test with flying colors?"
Zero, nada, nuthin'. Just a passing admission that he'd showed up at the debate, and then a plea for money.
Doesn't strike me as a message from someone who believes his campaign is "super-charged". Sounds more like a guy who knows he's already lost - and the fact that his team didn't even attempt to put a positive spin on last night's debate is, IMHO, very telling.

(37,540 posts)he has to be doing a major cost-benefit analysis on the state of his cashflow vs. internal polling. Will he continue to spend millions more on messaging if the data tells him the PR campaign is a failure? More importantly, will the big contributors - who view Mitt's campaign as a business investment - keep funding this loser? How much personal money will Mitt burn for his ego?

(20,776 posts)or something...did you guys see the way he was blinking last night during the debate? His eyes could have provided enough power to light up half of Chicago's city street lights.

(5,105 posts)I feel very sure I've read that blinking of the eyes is indicative of lying. As is licking the lips. As is looking to the left, and onscreen Romney was on the left, Obama on the right in the split screen view.

(37,540 posts)but we are programmed by our corporate media to think flawed polls which somehow find parity amongst the voter numbers are more believable than our lying eyes.

Yes. SO Supercharged over his bizzarre sweaty performance, that he had to cancel ALL media interviews for the next two weeks. riiiight.
