A question about Republicans that's been bothering me for years:

Every time I see Robme on t.v. I can't help but ask myself
"Can't the Republicans come up with a better candidate to represent them?"
Then it hits me:

HE DOES REPRESENT THEM!! TO THE "T"

Mitt Robme is the poster child for everything Republican rolled into one.
He is the living embodiment of corporate thievery, excessive greed,
arrogance, dishonesty, callousness, and ignorance i.e., the true
personification of a pompous ass. Something every Republican can
aspire to. What more could the Republican party ask for?

He represents the Ownership of the Party; he does not really represent the rank-and-file ( i.e. those who are manipulated into voting republican by exploiting their fears/bigotry/hatred , etc).
Tax cuts are the agenda of the Wealthy class, and this is the only thing he has not wavered on.

The republican party as a whole would have asked for a Mitt Romney with a bible in one hand and an assault weapon in the other.

they didn't get that because the party isn't a democracy; it is a plutocracy . the guys with the money wanted one of their own, not some fruit loop like Rick " man-on-dog " Santorum...

"Bid Daddy" Mitt, rich, successful, regal, aloof....

Never mind that he's bereft of a moral compass or that he'll sell anyone out at any time.

He represents a vague ideal of a true leader to them. Even if he DOESN'T live up to their ultra-right mindset.
