I voted! (Chicagoland)

I had to park 1/2 a block away and walk to Village Hall , but it was a great day to do that! The weather was cool and refreshing.

Surprised to see several Republican election judges floating around the room--in my very liberal neighborhood. I guess in this part of town, Rs do tend to pop up here and there....

After a 10-minute wait, I got checked in by a Democratic student. She said, "Take the card to any empty booth." With my card and "cheat sheet" in hand I found one rather quick. After 14 pages of voting--and six review ones--I had cast my ballot (with a paper trail) and I was on my way!

Now I'm going to hide under a rock till it's all over!
