(17,064 posts)Debates are mostly useful when a candidate is unknown. A good debate can give a candidate a boost (ala Herman Cain), likewise a poor debate can kill a candidate (ala Rick Perry).
In this case, both candidates are known quantities... Obama has been POTUS for 3 1/2 years, and willard has been running for president for 6. People know who they support, and a poor or good debate isn't going to change it. The dumbass undecideds either have decided they don't like either candidate (a valid point), or they need help deciding which socks to put on in the morning.
