This year, I was not only canvassed at my home, I ran into a man 2 blocks away who was canvassing.
I receive many, many Romney mailers. Honestly couldn't tell you what they said - straight to the recycle bin.
Today - I got my first Obama mailer - an oversize card that clearly listed my early voting location, and dates and hours of operation.
That's my President's team. That's intelligence. Not randomly throwing darts - identifying and targeting.

On election day they will be driving people to the polls if they need a ride.

(3,491 posts)of Democratic Party voter guides. Today, I gave the one I used to a lady who was struggling a bit to figure out who was who in the down ballot races. She was asking me questions as I was leaving so instead of telling her who to vote for I just gave her the guide. She was very appreciative.

(284 posts)I've been volunteering with the campaign in PA. The organization of this effort is incredible. The volunteers are phenomenal. I spent 20 hours this past weekend with people who were canvassing the neighborhoods, who working at phone banks, and who were inputting the data into the campaign data bases. All were incredibly bright and dedicated. what a great feeling seeing so much commitment to a great man.
