Operation defend and promote Obama via centrist msg boards and twitter! Who's in?!

Good evening everyone,

This is it. The final debate. Last time we took over the Internet with "Binders full of Women" and tonight the President is going to need your support again.

If you haven't volunteered yet... tonight and tomorrow morning is the perfect time to start. If you don't yet have message board profiles at all of the centrist news networks I encourage you to register right now. If you are a Twitter fanatic start thinking of funny hash tags and retweet anything that you think has legs. The MSM wants this election to be a horse race and will be playing devil's advocate on any of Romney's stumbles. It's up to each of us to highlight the best moments of the night for the President wherever we can.

Democratic Underground is our best site for news but tonight we are simply preaching to the already converted if only posting or reading here. The Democrats need your voice, your reason, and your intelligence to ensure the narrative doesn't get lost and that the Fox News/The Hill trolls don't dominate CNN/ABC/CBS and Huff Post via twitter, message boards and online polls. Journalists will be looking for reasons to award this to the President. You can help.

Undecideds and centrists will be seeking out consensus and looking for reasons to vote one way or another. Anything you can contribute in the way of info, charts, videos, facts, etc will go a long way to opening the minds of folks who are not as well-versed on the issues or the President's track record. If you don't help tonight and tomorrow by devoting hours to defending and promoting the President's performance trough every medium available to you then when over the next 2 weeks will you ever have such an audience? Don't let the Right Wing trolls dominate the boards of these sites. Together, we can all ensure the message isn't lost.

THE OPERATION BEGINS AT 9pm EST! WHO's IN!?!

The largest threads on DU lately reach maybe 200 and all of us are already hugely supportive of the President's policies. We are preaching to the converted tonight. Tonight and tomorrow are our best chances to defend and promote the President everywhere possible during the last debate.

All I'm saying is that the Fox News gang is united and comes out in full force to defend Romney all over CNN, Huff Post, ABC, CBS, etc. By sticking just to here on such an important night the President's losing some of his best informed, most loyal, and dedicated supporters on the sites that get arguably 10-20 x the views that DU threads get including many undecided and centrist readers who are looking for reasons to vote Obama.

Everyone reading this has the power to influence another person tonight, to open their mind to policies and the track record of Obama in ways they may not have read before. When you explain why you feel the President won tonight's debate and why you believe Romney shouldn't be President you never know who's reading. In a close election your posts may contribute to an Obama win.

Tonight and tomorrow morning are huge nights to reach people who normally don't read these other sites. If we don't reach them the Right Wingers will. That's all I'm saying.
