Ipsos projects Obama will carry Florida, Ohio and Virginia

However, Obama still holds a substantial advantage in the battleground states that will determine the outcome of the election. Ipsos projects Obama will carry hotly contested states such as Florida, Ohio and Virginia, for a relatively comfortable electoral college victory.

The media will always MAKE it a horserace. I wonder how many billions the corporate media has raked in off of this election with unlimited money thanks to Citizens United plus their incessant penchant to keep it a "horse race" in the minds of viewers?

Funny we never see those numbers. I want to see those numbers. How much MONEY did the corporate media make off of the 2012 election? How much of that was from ad buys and how much from "reporting" (which is nothing these days but propaganda and opinion-shaping for profit).

Hmmm...

The more they can push this horse race, the more GM, Geico, Budweiser and everybody else has to spend to get their ads on the air. It is a huge ripoff and the consumers end up paying for it.

This is all looking like an effort to undermine Obama. Whether or not it affects the vote, it certainly will encourage the right-wing nut cases to claim Obama didn't actually win. They will say "All the polls showed it being a tied race. No way Obama could have won a landslide in the electoral college."

around this time, stating the McCain and crazy Palin had a shot at the elections because of all of the evangelist nut jobs coming out in full force for their crazed GAWD - rapture bullshit that ain't even a Christian ideology. Seems like a lot of these polls show that 100% whites will vote GOPper and 1-2% of minorities may show up to vote and even Latinos are not counted into these equations but when they are they are going wholeheartedly for Mittens, and women have tied in voting for Mittens which is another bullshit crap.

Corporated media want WW3 as well, but guess what, Mittens you ain't going to get your own planet cause its belongs to me!

media is just that, CORPORATE media. They have tried every legal and illegal trick in the book. Their next move will be the electronic voting machines and paper ballet counters. If your area goes for Rmoney, or the Repug Congressman or Senator, when all exit polls suggest otherwise, get the word out! We have to stay vigilant b/c it is coming!

He WILL get North Carolina along with Florida, Ohio, & Virginia.

He MIGHT ALSO get Arizona. I feel that he will force flip that state his way for some reason.
Just my intuition.

I'll be REALLY surprised if he gets Georgia or one other Southern state outside of North Carolina.

Either way it goes there's no way Romney's winning this election.
Obama will win it in a landslide.

It's unlikely we're going to sweep those three states, at this point I'll be happy if we win just one of them.
