(45,319 posts)up by Joseph, begetting the natural child Jesus. After all those years of claiming they were Biblical living and America must be Christian, and instantly they go for multiple Gods and Jesus born of man not of God, snap, just like that. Whole basis of their faith, flushed.
The pretention and affectation that they hate gay people 'because the Bible says so' has never been so obviously false. They are ripping their own theology to shreds to call Mitt a Christian.

I wonder how Romney knew that his religion would become a nonissue to the religious right? He turned out to be correct, obviously, but how did he know his faith would be handled with kid gloves by both sides?

(37,364 posts)to condemn subservient treatment of women by this religion because I can see him turning it in to social policy. For once I'm willing to go there because it is exactly this type of theology that will force itself on others.
