How large is Florida? Well...

Florida is so large that if Obama won Florida we could afford to lose Iowa, Nevada, Colorado, Virgina, Ohio and Wisconsin.

It's a very large state... roughly the same population as New York. (29 EV)

How large is Virginia? Well, Virginia and New Hamshire as a combo are as good as Ohio in all the practical sceanarios. (Ohio is 18 EV to 13 and 4 for VA and NH, but that extra EV for Ohio doesn't come into play much when you play with the map.)

I agree that Ohio is the most important state for us of the big three, but it's fun to play around with the map.
