Gallup Predictions..

What is your prediction for the Gallup Numbers tommorow. I think the numbers will soon go back down. I say it will be romney +5 or 4 tommorow. I say Rasmussen will be Romney +1. IBD will be Obama +4

1. We've been predicting that for days, but...

...just the opposite has happened. I think Gallup's a lost cause -- their methodology must be doing something different from everyone else. As I wrote before, either they will turn out to be the only pollster who got it right, or they're going to wind with egg all over their faces. Want to take bets in which is more likely?

2. Gallup has been all over the place in past elections until the final

days of the race. At that time, presumably they make adjustments?

3. Idk, Gallup's procedures are clearly messed up.

They've been a major outlier ever since they change their methods earlier in the month (on top of leaning R to begin with), whether it was to intentionally muddy the waters or not. Unless they fix their methods, I wouldn't count on things moving much with that poll.

They're going to need to fix their methods before election day, though, because if they don't, they'll end up being way off of the final results, and that ain't good for business.
