I really get tired of Romney saying things about Obama having a failed record or no record to run on when Mitt's record as Massachusetts Governor is such a disastrous failure. The people in Massachusetts know Obama's record as President and Romney's record as Governor of Massachusetts, and Obama is tromping Romney in Massachusetts. Romney is such a failure, he is being tromped in his home state.
We can't let Romney get away with telling people he knows how to create jobs and that Obama has such a bad record. Romney's record speaks for itself. The information is all there on the Obama website. I'd like to see Romney's nose rubbed in it in the next debate.
Mitt Romney promised to bring his experience from the corporate boardroom to Massachusettsthe same promise hes making now as a presidential candidate. But Romney economics didn't produce thenand it wont now.
Stagnant job growth: During Governor Romneys term, Massachusetts fell from 36th to 47th out of 50 states in job creation, while the overall U.S. economy grew.
Declining manufacturing: By the end of Governor Romneys term, Massachusetts had lost more than 40,000 manufacturing jobsa rate twice the national average.
Higher taxes: Gov. Romney raised taxes on the middle class, but pushed through a tax cut that overwhelmingly benefited 278 of the wealthiest individuals in MA.
Highest debt in the nation: Under Mitt Romney, Massachusetts debt burden grew to the highest per person in the nation.
Increased government spending: State spending increased every year while Romney was in office, and he left behind a $1 billion deficit for the next governor.
Jobs outsourced overseas: Governor Romney failed to protect good jobs in Massachusetts, and actually outsourced state jobs to India.

(13,197 posts)Use it as a capper. Hammer Mitt on his lack of foreign policy skill, and then slam him as a failed Governor who can't even win his own home state because of his disastrous record.

(10,942 posts)experience, and the President needs to be ready for Romney's lying ass. If Romney brings up his time as Governor, the President must nail Romney with Romney's record. If Romney brings up Romney's claim about building businesses, the President must meet Romney with Romney's record of outsourcing jobs. If Romney brings up the Utah olympics, the President must meet Romney's claim with the wasted money and favoritism that took place under Romney.
