let's just boil it down for people.
Romney is anti-abortion/choice, his advisors are the same, his party is the same and these folks will be choosing Supreme Court justices.
Romney is opposed to measures designed to get rid of pay unfairness between men and women.
Romney is against gay marriage, and even his past positions won't mean much when Republicans try to ban it and he's faced with signing or veto-ing his own right-wing's bills.
Romney will raise taxes! He is in favor of limiting tax deductions that the middle class depends on to pay for their housing, among other things. Limiting those deductions will also harm middle class families in states who are not afraid to tax at levels they need to sustain good schools, maintain their safety nets, etc.
Romney's against Obamacare, is against most measures designed to expand health coverage. Though he says he's in favor of state plans like Massachusetts has, his own plans would actually undermine or destroy those kind of one-state plans.
Romney's party wants to replace Medicare, most Republicans want to privatize Social Security. Republicans in congress are more conservative than they were in 2005 when Bush tried --what's to stop them during a Romney presidency?
Romney and his party want to reduce and dismantle Medicaid, even as it is today --the expansion that goes with Obamacare is off the table, obviously. If you ever could foresee needing healthcare or coverage via the government, subsidy or the like --that healthcare is in jeopardy.
Romney's a hawk on potential wars (with Iran, Libya, Syria) and has expressed disappointment with reducing forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. And his advisors are likely to be worse.
While it's not a 100% chance that these things happen, but without Obama, the only thing to stand in the way would be a Democratic senate. The odds would be far far worse.

This election is about these things. For the undecided, ask them how they like their taxes going up to pay for tax cuts to the wealthy? How they like children going without healthcare only to have that money go to pay for wars they don't want the US fighting? And birth control? How would an undecided voter like trying to get birth control when the people running the government believe that birth control is actually a form of abortion (yes, I've a lot of experience in evangelical circles --this belief is widespread, and those who hold it would be in control).

(39 posts)I know there are several petitions floating around, but this one definitely will get to Eric Holder. Thanks!! Signatures are multiplying rapidly each time I check, but the more impressive the petition list, the more likely it is to get immediate attention by Eric Holder and time till the election is not getting any longer... Thanks for signing. This is so important to us all.
