And sure seems to want it to be the only one heard on his show. I can't figure out why he even bothers having guests when he barely lets them speak. [img][/img]

He's a slight plus.

When he's calm and focusing on the "inside politics" meme, he can be very insightful.

However, he is subject to man-crushes on macho politicians.

On the other hand, he's been supportive of Obama recently, and isn't afraid to call out racists and racism.

The Koch Bros. are a much bigger problem.

The other is a cool, laid-back guy.

I flew from JFK to SFO, seated next to him on both flights.

We had a heck of a time. Interestingly, I was the only passenger in 1st Class who recognized him. The attendant knew who he was, though.

he should take his serous charge of 'news', 'journalism', whatever it is called these days, he should take this more seriously instead of it being about HIM, maybe he should stop and think before he has one of his emotional outbursts of ME ME ME I'm so upset, mama.

fuck 'im.

still can't watch MSNBC

It is not 'whatever' and the two things are not the same. If you are looking for news reporting, he does not do that. He comments on the news, as do the guests on his show. He is not charged with anything other than giving his opinion. Which is what he does. That's his job. Journalism is not his job.

they all do it for their own ratings, their own bosses, and their own paychecks.

some are more bearable that others, obviously, but it's all a game to them. like sports announcing.

If he wants to ask and answer his own questions, he should do the entire show solo.

I like him except when he helps destroy Obama's lead by setting up a narrative that he absolutely sucked in the first debate. We have enough MSM in the tank for Romney, he needed to buffer his comments because they were so over the top it really made us SUFFER the next TWO WEEKS.

He irritates the hell out of me at times but he has been pointing out the rabid racism being used by the repubs where few others (Martin Bashir, Reverend Al being the 'few') are and that gets big kudos from me.

President Obama did seem somewhat subdued to me as well but to go ballistic, as Chris did, was bizarre, imo.

I think part of it comes down to trying to keep drama in the Presidential race in order to maintain or increase their viewership seeing as those are the numbers that get the attention of the advertisers.
