Let me tell you why "I have my beautiful wife, Ann; he has Bill Clinton.” is so funny

It's funny because what he really means is "He has the Big Dog and all I've got is my cold, bitter wife"

The RobMe Party has two living former presidents, Newt, Sanatorium, Perry, Walker and a slew of other Repig governors, etc.

But none of them can stump for poor , poor Mittens, because they are all radioactive. It's really "so very hard" to run for President as a repugnican.

The best option Mittens has for someone to stump for him is his "beautiful" wife Ann. He barely even lets Ryan off the leash.

And don't forget, they are soooo jealous of Clinton, they actually impeached him for getting a little on the side.

That Ryan doesn't seem to be doing much heavy lifting in the campaign.

I wonder if there's an alpha-dog contest going on within the campaign, as reflected in that sad little event where Romney stopped people from chanting for Ryan and tried to lead them in chanting ROMNEY-Ryan.

He doesn't seem like the kind of guy who'd be willing to share the spotlight.

And now poor mittens is all over the place: whining, nervous, angry, outraged.

It sounds like typical prep boy Republican humor. They "Romney types" really do hate the smart poor kid smirking non conformist (in the preppy world) who dismisses and mocks them and their antics. Both Clinton and Obama share the ability to put these phonies in their place.

Romney's joke about 65 years of debate preparation was close to the truth. Can you imagine how repressed this pretentious prick really is no wonder he wants to cut hair and dress like a cop.

Fri Oct 19, 2012, 11:26 AM
Oct 2012

This is quite the relationship...when Willard has a "gender gap" problem he puts his wife out front as if to say "see I have a uterus...so I can relate". It's some of the worst patronizing I've ever seen. He did it during the primaries...then tried to trot her out during the convention and now on "The View". She "vouches" for his character since he has neither the cajones or the scrupples to be able to do it himself. The problem is Queen Ann is as much a self-center cold fish as he is so as Willard so aptly states (behind her back)...she grates on you after a while.

and who has mentioned several times how his mental well being is her biggest concern about him.

His wife, on whom his son has said he is dependent to keep from "going crazy."

So basically, he is mentally unstable and dependent on a seriously ill woman to keep him from going psycho when the pressure is on.

Versus somebody who is mentally tough and able to stand alone if his equally tough wife is unavailable at the moment.

I listened to the Al Smith's fund raiser and though Romney's jokes were more a stump speech! Yes, he had one or two jokes that were somewhat funny, but they were a bitter boorish format, unlike Barrack making fun of him and Biden, less on Romney and Ryan! Obama hit it out of the park once again!

Mitt wishes he had Clinton on his side. Mitt wishes people other than his family actually liked him.

Even his family is manipulated by his narcissism and a good part of that is that he controls the money.

He knows deep in his heart that if he loses his money and power, that no one will be there for him.

Pitiful, but in a wounded scorpion kind of way.

Especially if you see their weakness, they will slip around and knock you on your ass.

Every time I find myself feeling for Mitt, I think of Sheldon Adelson, Bibi Netanyahu and Karl Rove and our country and that wakes me the fuck up.

But if I could put them all in another dimension with an imitation world, I would enjoy watching the power struggle that is sure to ensue with Mitt in the White House.

Even many Latter-day Saints joke about Washington’s “Mormon mafia” – referring to the number of well-placed LDS Church members across town – though they cringe at the thought of being seen as part of some cabal. (Echo Hawk, for his part, left the Obama administration a few weeks after his chapel presentation for a job in the LDS Church hierarchy).

And second, you have to decide that it's not a knock on Michelle, which I didn't assume it was when I heard it.

Most people, except the worst bigots, like Michelle.

I think it's funny because you expect he'll mention his opponent's wife, and then he switches. Plus, it changes the picture from images of Clinton with interns to Clinton bucking up the young kid.

But it really is what that whole night is about: Cute, surprising turn-arounds.

track record, they can take the heat. As Hillary said, she hates wieners. Our President, and Bill Clinton are so fortunate to have these incredible women as wives and partners. I think Romney does not want to give them credit for the job they do. Ann's public perception is elitist snob, who finds it difficult and unsavory to answer questions that affronts her status of " Queen" .So he struts his " beautiful wife Ann" around like some trophy, cause who else does he have.
