One thing Prez O proved in both debates was that he has self-discipline. He wanted (motives can be disputed) to present himself as a somber, non-confrontational opponent in the first debate and as a driven, unapologetic, confident opponent in the second debate. And he did. He changed styles, it appears, with ease.
OTOH, Rmoney was the same frantic, "teacher-pick-me-I'm-desperate-for-your-approval" lying asshole in both. I've never seen him behave *any* other way.
I think the only way Rmoney could win a poker game would be to steal the pot.

(39,332 posts)Romney's language really deteriorated and he became inarticulate. He did do better the first round, but .. we've forgotten alll about that now!

(13,704 posts)Romney is very jittery and nervous. He exudes little confidence except his failed attempt to zing Obama on the Benghazi statement. The fool thought he really had it in the bag, practically dancing a jig......Pssssssssssss balloon deflated ssssss wh..wh...wha..what?????
