1. Perfect! Obama needs to ask that question in the next debate.

Although, I personally don't want either. Clinton's (and Obama's) trade policies have been terrible for America.

but, bottom line this is exactly what the election is about, and yet media will not approach it in this very simple way.

3. neither Bush or Clinton are on the ballot

The problem with this is that neither of those guys are running. The choice for the future should be: Do we continue on and see if this recovery really takes hold giving the current policies time to work given the magnitude of the crisis or do we try Romney's plan. I really don't think Obama's policies look like Clinton's at all and I don't hear or see anything new for the next 4 years. Which might be a problem for some voters. It will really come down to do people think the economy is getting better and Obama's plan is working so give it time or do we change coaches in the middle of the game.

and they have demonstrated over and over that they have no plan themselves other than to thwart the president's plans.

6. Question for you - when did GOP congress allow Obama's policies to pass and replace Bush's

tax and economic policies? As far as I know the GOP has been successful in blocking Obama's return to Clinton style fiscal policies. Surely you must have noticed this over the last few years?

I think I am most frustrated with the fact that we had total control the first 2 years and we as democrats didn't do anything. Clinton's policies worked...WELL! I wish those were back but why not go for it when we could without being mired down with the GOP?

8. No - we did not - that's a RW talking point that is not true.

We only had 24 working days late in 2010. GOP knows damn well what the numbers were - they kept Franken from taking his seat well into summer 2009, and Kennedy and Byrd were seriously ill for some time before they expired. Only towards end of 2010 did Dems actually HAVE a supermajority. GOP knows this but they and their corporate whore media repeat the 2 year lie every chance they get because they know most people have poor memories.
You should be 'frustrated at the fact' that you repeated the GOP talking points and have no grasp of the actual facts.
