and yet the majority of Americans favor raising taxes on the ultra rich and few were ever in favor of Trump’s tax cuts for the wealthy, even the ones who voted for him.

As far as this austerity nonsense goes …

Everything the average people in the US are for is totally ignored by the GOP. Yet the suckers keep voting them in, largely over social wedge issues involving guns, gays and gawd among others like abortion.
