He claims he didn't want to return but was talked into it. He should have stayed retired.

Lehrer was awful. Both of these two moderators were far better.
Although I think they should have the ability to cut off mikes when people go over their time and that the questions should be displayed on the screen so that the viewers can see when the answers go off track from the questions.
