2. I think a lot of people are not really sure they were telling it like they saw it -

I suspect they were told by the bosses to help the horse race narrative.

Oh well.

5. Bull. No way Chris or Rachel or Ed would do that. You're not paying attention.

They were saying what we all saw.

9. Really?

It wasn't what I saw.

I saw Obama get off to a slow start and then come up with some really good lines later, like the Romney had some views but now it's "nevermind." I saw Romney as energetic but a complete liar who slowly looked more unhinged, blinking his head off.

Most of the MsNBC crew seemed to be gleefully concentrating on Obama's negatives only.

I lost a lot of trust in them that night.

Oh well.

The winner of the debate is not the person who won the most debate points otr lied less, it is the one that the (idiotic) undecided voters won. And they don't decide on debate points.

in giving much of a counter argument.

Note - after last night's debate, the gang was much more subdued and relaxed.

17. They were upset, as were many of us, and displayed it. Not gleefully excited.

Rachel was gleefully excited last night, as was Chris.

4. Agreed. Just because some don't like the truth doesn't mean it isn't the truth.

We're supposed to be the reality based side, are we not? When the reality is that you got your ass kicked you admit it, dust off and get ready for the next battle. You don't go into denial and shoot the messenger. That's the way the mouthbreathing, fantasyland crew does it.

7. I'm all for telling like it is especially if you are contributing to President O....

however it's all about delivery if MSNBC would have came out and said this was a safe debate maybe the polls would be closer, they way they came out bashing President O was despicable.

8. I was upset by the way MSNBC covered the first debate.....

but I truly believe they covered the VP debate very well.....

MSNBC is my choice for presidential coverage....and during the past two debates they had more viewers than everyone else....

Yes... some of them do get carried away especially Chris and Ed.....but that does not mean I will stop watching them

If we as liberals/progressives cannot take criticism than we become the same nutcases that TPers are....

13. I don't agree with everything everyone says on MSNBC

but there are a lot of really good people there. I don't want a station that is the flip side of FOX News, which is 90% propaganda. I can handle different perspectives even if I disagree with them.

People like Rachel Maddow, Ezra Klein, Ed Schultz, Chris Hayes, and Martin Bashir (just to mention a few) are enough to keep me tuned into MSNBC. I like diversity and I'm adult enough to draw my own conclusions AND to change the channel if necessary.

I don't want MSNBC to be like FAUX.

Things were going GREAT before the debate...now....not so much

It's isn't MSNBC's fault things changed the way they did. Taking it out on them is absurd
