My simple opinion about tonights debate...

While it's always good to be a bit concerned, I wouldn't be worried.

A few things to think about.

Obama is a smart guy. He knows he didn't bring his best game last time. He will tonight.

mittens is also a smart guy, but not clever. I think he believes he tapped into something last time with his odd fidgety appearance of telling convincing lies to those who don't know better. I think that is his failing. He will bring more of the same. However, if his handlers are trying to second guess things, they will probably tell mittens to tone it down and try to appear more serious and less asshole-ish. thinking that if they try this tactic, an aggressive Obama will be off putting.

That didn't work for ryan.

it won't work for mittens.

I foresee Obama applying some of the techniques that Biden used very effectively. If so, mittens will come off as clueless, much as ryan did.

If mittens tries the same tact of appearing like a drug addled coke head, then I think Obama will tear him up.

I'm not the least bit worried about tonight.

My friends are all pins and needles, are all worried, are all concerned that Obama will be like last time.

Folks, to quote Rachel Maddow, "Obama is wicked smart". He knows how to play it.

Don't get me wrong, there will be fireworks, but anytime mittens is confronted with anything that invades his very tight world view, he's easily startled and turns into a complete and utter dickhead. I suspect that we will see some of that tonight. And, as I believe we will, mittens will then lose and lose plenty.

Be supportive, be confident, be optimistic, but most of all; be calm.

Cheers!

Romney will be more fidgety and fast talking than he was last time, too. I'm looking forward to this debate! I have every confidence in Barack Obama.

Have stacked the debate deck against Obama in terms of tough questions? If they'd stuff the electronic ballot boxes, what would stop them from stuffing Candy's inbox with assinine questions for Obama and softballs for Mittens? Or what if they've gotten to the "undecideds" taking part in the forum.
You said to stay calm and I'm already hysterical! Tell me none of what I've suggested could happen.

if you feel that being hysterical is a good course of action to live your life, that than is completely your choice.

I choose to be calm.
