Obama is great relating to people and answering questions off-the-cuff. He exhibits empathy and understanding of all Americans.
Romney doesn't like being challenged, especially from "normal" people. He doesn't do well with average Americans ("Who let the dogs out" and doesn't come off as sympathetic to anyone. I've seen him truly be rude to people on the street answering questions.
Obama's real challenge tonight is answering questions about Benghazi. The economy is doing better and he has a clear plan with continuing progress in that direction.
Romney will face many tough questions tonight: The 47% statements, Off-shore accounts, Tax returns, Women's Rights, Details of his Tax Plan, Outsourcing Jobs, and all of these questions will be dictated by real people, audience members.
I believe this debate will show Romney's true colors to the American people. He can't get away with Etch-a-sketched talking points on a crib sheet.
