I avoided DU completely, shortly before and during; just a bit of a peek afterward, until morning. Hate to say that, but this is a pretty anxious place; understandable, as it is, that folks come here to vent.
I also watched a split-screen on C-Span (I watched PBS for the first one).
Wouldn't recommend DU (at any time) if you don't want to hear criticism of our Democratic president, though. It's just not ever going to be the case that he doesn't tick someone here off for some reason or the other.
I'm going to admit, though, that I lost a dependable cheering section here during the first presidential debate. Like most everything else in life, these days, that's another thing that just can't be counted on. So, I'm not going to make the mistake of just letting anxious folks piss in my wheaties, again, voluntarily. I think most of us understand each other, by now, anyway.
But, hey, best of luck, to us all, tonight! I'll be watching the debate with great interest and enthusiasm. It will be interesting to read the reaction here tomorrow.

For the same reason I'm taking a break from all the TV pundits. They're just filling airspace with noise for the first day at least. People don't pay much attention to them in real life.
edited to change to to too.
too tense over politics for noise, right now. Need to unwind, rest a bit before tuning in to what I consider one of the best experiences politics has to offer.
All the best, lunatica!
