Late term abortion providers should take the aborted child out to the protestors and

show them why the child was aborted. Maybe once they see with their own eyes a child with all its insides on the outside or one of the other tragic things that make a late term abortion an option, they might just understand why an abortion was necessary.

It's not about the baby -- it's about directing THEIR guilt and free floating anger outward. And eugenics, ugh.

On this topic, all we can do is keep true to our principles, live good lives and outlast them.

if only they'd left it alone and prayed!

Seriously, these people are not rational. Aren't a lot of late term abortions done to remove a fetus that's already dead? They don't even want that to be allowed. They don't care one little bit about the women OR the children.

5. No. They already misidentify stillbirth photos as abortions.

Imagine what they would do with a photo of an abortion provider doing this...

10. OK. I certainly believe your motives are pure. It's still an awful idea

a) It would never work. They believe that no matter what a woman should be forced to bear to term. b) It's still exploitation.

What the fuck?
Exploit some woman's personal pain and grief to make a political point?

I still think it's a bad idea. It could backfire.

I have a personal problem with this as my cousin had to have a stillborn removed. I held her hand and we both sobbed. Had someone come into the room and suggested such a thing, I can honestly say I would have slapped them.

14. I understand - but they aren't coming from a place of reason.

And they would snap a photo, and post it on their websites, and come up with some story about a physician brandishing a 'dead child' like a trophy.

I have actually linked to photos of preserved, deformed stillborn fetuses in online debates with these people.

I have said, "If you think that women who are getting abortions should be forced to see your so-called abortion photos, so they "know what they're doing" shouldn't pregnant women be shown these photos of what can happen when you choose to give birth - so they know all the possible outcomes? How about showing them an episiotomy? Or an emergency C section?"

The response? "Thats GOD'S decision, and He chose to lead women who have deformed or defective children to the lessons of loss."

Really - you cannot get through to them.

two things,

The dignity of the human remains and the parents need to grieve.

These people confuse still births (and at six months trust me, it is a baby... with abortions.

I hate to say it also, but I agree with the rest of the posters, you cannot argue with crazy. And I am not using crazy in a mental diagnostic setting either.
