Herman Cain says no one won the debate Thurs night

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -
Former presidential candidate Herman Cain is back on the campaign trail. He was in Kansas City speaking to conservative groups about politics, energy and the economy.

During the interview, Cain commented on what he thought of Thursday night's vice presidential debate.

"I thought overall that there wasn't a winner and the loser was the American people," he said.

It's his clear, plain-spoken persona that galvanized that the Republican base and briefly catapulted Cain to the top of the polls during the Republican Primary. His campaign was later derailed amid allegations of sexual harassment and infidelity. But Cain vowed to remain active in politics and he started his Truth Tour, an idea that came to him after he took a call during a radio interview.
