Just got back in town and read the transcript of the VP debate I missed

It does not speak well for this country that the polling on this debate is even close. Biden slaughtered Ryan, and I don't say that because his politics dovetail with mine. I say it because I'm reading the actual give-and-take on the screen, which is damning for Ryan. That enough people thought Ryan won this thing speaks volumes about the credence we give body language and other intangibles, because I don't see it here. People need to stop watching and start listening. And HEARING.

Romney was an overzealous liar and Obama spent most of the debate refuting what Romney said with facts. Romney was basically badgering the moderator (a poor one at that) and making topsy-turvy responses. Obama reached a point where he stopped debating with Romney if you notice.

Obama came to realize you can't debate a liar. So what you do is clear up the lies with facts to the American people. Obama used every comment Romney said as a prompt to clarify points and clear up misunderstandings to the American people and definitely the low-information voter. The Biden/Ryan debate was a real debate and left out the low-information voter since the language was over the head I think of people who are not in-depth in politics.

I felt Obama definitely one the last debate while Romney lost. I don't know why a jitteriness and lies makes a better win while a calm and factual "layman speaking" approach is equal to a loser.

you keep repeating the lie, eventually it becomes "truth".

People who push that Ryan won don't believe it. They just need for the majority of the uninformed to believe it.
