There is no county named Sand County.

There are a number of counties in WI (e.g. Juneau, Adams) with very sandy & unproductive soil, that are called "sand counties."

That's what ol' Aldo was referring to in the title of "Sand County Almanac." He was describing, not naming, his setting.

One day I was bragging on how much I liked not having dish anymore here at DU and she came home from work pissed at me. She thought WTF a dopple couple; then saw that it was me (I think she's still mad). She misses her football.

We usually talk about threads when we have time together. One time I was reading one of her posts where she had responding to the same person that I had. I noticed it when we were out at dinner together.
