1. If he does, he'll be called an angry black man...if he doesn't, he'll be called weak.

That's my fear. The media is so biased, they can't be trusted.

All I heard today was about Biden's grinning. Nevermind about the content of his words.

Obama had to walk a fucking tight rope while Romney gets to run around all three rings like a clown to the cheers of the pundits

13. Biden was great. The press is just scared. They want to keep this story going.

Controversy, a close race, are their bread and butter.

3. I think Obama would get a big boost

He needs to hand Romney his head on a silver platter, and show he is a BOSS. No more of Romney trying to be a macho he-man and bully, hopefully Obama will put him in his place.

5. He can't behave the same as Joe

Joe can act that way because everyone expects it. If the President did the same thing Romney would play the straight man and just point and say this guy is unhinged and desperate, the right wing media will lap it up.

Is important. People need to see how medicaid will be demolished. Pell grants cut. Medicare gutted, with seniors unable to afford adequate medical care or meds. Etc...

At the same time, Obama needs to call out Romney's lies and his rotten record in mass.

Romney has nothing to tout. See McCain's file on Romney.

I posted elsewhere that I wish Obama had refused to debate Romney until Romney released his returns.

8. Lawrence O'Donnell tonight had an interesting take on Presidential debates.

He asks us to consider that we are electing a President in Chief, not a Debater in Chief..

I think he was responding to the hair-on-fire responses of some fellow MSNBC commentators immediately after the first debate..

14. That is especially true of the Biden/Ryan debate.

Which of these men is prepared to be vice president for the next four years?

For me, there is no question. Biden is ready and qualified. Ryan is not.

12. No, he has to accomplish three things...

1) Not let Romney get away with his lies, but not in an aggressive manner (i.e. "I'm sorry, but that statement is simply not true" instead of "you're a liar&quot .

2) Defend your administration's accomplishments (the VP debate should give you good ideas on how to respond).

3) "Be Obama." Show the positive side of your personality, with energy and empathy.

Do those things well, andobama will do just fine.
