I was quoting Rush Limbaugh from August 22 of this year, when Romney was behind.
Here's how I got that ... just type "rush limbaugh opinion polls" in the search engine. This time, I did "Google", and it was 3rd or 4th.

(20,577 posts)because most people are followers. They want to back a winner, so those who wish to create the impression their candidate is winning create weighted polls.
Obviously not all polls are the same and all polls fall short of true statistical methods.

I used to work at the Census Bureau where extreme efforts are made to obtain an unbiased sample for every survey. It just drives me crazy to see these seat of the pants polls being used at all.
