Maybe he did but it's a common thing - I've had 4 kids and had very early ultrasounds with all of them and it unmistakeably looks like a bean at first. It's what everyone says it looks like. Ryan is definitely not original (and neither, probably, was Kurt Cobain).

Its one of, if not the most popular "prenatal nicknames". The claim that Ryan "borrowed" the story about his daughter is not only unprovable, its stupid given the popularity of that nickname.
