Just wanted to make sure folks saw this new smartphone toolset for fighting voter suppression, confusion around voter ID laws, and all the other crazy dirty-tricks we have seen in the past - wanted folks to know about this new app available from the Lawyers Committee on Civil Rights 866-OUR-VOTE project.

This app gives users the ability to:
-Check voter status from Catalist

-Find polling locations from Google's VIP database

-Register voters through Rock The Vote

-Learn key state specific rules from the New Organizing Institute

-Learn about their local voting machine from Verified Voting

-Report voters rights issues directly to the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights

We hope this app ads value to the overwhelmingly successful hotline that most of us have adopted for election protection issues and has an easy to upload form to geo-tag the problem to the location using your smartphone's GPS and iPhone camera to report directly to the on-call legal team!

I have ice cream sandwich on a Moto Triumph, and I got it ok. Had to go on Google Play for it though, the download from its own site didn't work.
