She thought Romney had won. To her dismay, as she's a lifelong Dem.
I thought Obama had won, and that Romney sounded manic and petulant and repetitive.
Reminded me of the Kennedy-Nixon debate in 1960, where the radio listeners thought Nixon won and the viewers thought Kennedy won.

(752 posts)I watched it on PBS, but was mainly listening rather than looking at the screen. When I did look I though Romney looked crazed and was rude and interrupting. I read Obama's body language as self-control in the presence of someone he truly has disdain and little respect for. I can't understand what R. said that made people think he won. For the life of me.

(30,540 posts)salesman and had that constipated look on his face. I was actually shocked to hear Chris, Rachel & Ed with their hair on fire, foaming at the mouth, moaning and wailing that Rmoney won!

(12,287 posts)and had the same opinion as you. I also thought Rmoney sounded manic and petulant. But I also was yelling liar back at the room the TV was in many times. I also thought he came off as the type of guy that doesn't take no for an answer that fast talks while not keeping his hands off of you...made him creepy to me.
