EXPOSED: Horror Stories: Mitt Romney's Shameful Record with Mormon Women

Horror Stories: Mitt Romney's Shameful Record with Mormon Women

.........................

(snippet)

In another incident Romney threatened Peggy Hayes, a divorced single women, with excommunication when she resisted his orders to give her infant son up for adoption to an LDS adoption agency.

"He told me he was a representative of the church and by refusing, I was failing to comply with the church's wishes and I could be excommunicated."

Hayes took Romney's admonition as a threat. She felt attacked, even intimidated. Moreover, it was insulting: "He was saying that because Dane her son didn't have a Mormon father in the home and because of the circumstances of his birth--being born to a single mother--then the expectation of the church was that I give him up for adoption to the church agency so he could be raised by a Mormon couple in good standing."

This case has a secondary racial angle as Mitt Romney showed no similar concern for her young African American daughter.

1. Women cannot trust this man

among his (very few) guiding principles is the strong belief that he doesn't give a fuck about women, and that they only exist to get him what he wants and to play a necessary role in popping out babies for the faith. He's disgusting.

I personally know a couple of either single or divorced women that belong to the mormon church that this has happened to. The church just wanted the babies and not the older children. I think this practice is very common in the church. These woman kept their babies and left the church.

I also know of one woman who had a cheating husband and everyone knew what was going on. She files for divorce and the church backed him up and he got custody of all their children.

This is just another case of him showing how he bullies others. Whether in school, in the church or in business, Robme is a bully. As a nation, we should stand up to punks like him.
How anyone can vote for him, I'll never understand. I was conversing with a nut job friend of mine from college and as I told him, "you said you can't vote for Obama. Fine. But how you can actually vote for Romney is beyond me." God, pick someone, anyone else. I'd have more respect for someone who said they would vote for a Libertarian. Ron Paul may be a major league douche, but at least he is consistent in what he says/does (well, mostly consistent anyway). Rmoney has no principles, no real moral compass and certainly no consistency in his policies.

And I think the reason they won't is because of stories like this that keep coming out about Mitt.
They don't want to taint their church by endorsing him for President and doing any more damage to their church that he has already done.

They will distance themselves from Mitt because they have a clear history of disassociating at any sign of controversy that spoils their image and Mitt is doing just that. It's cosmetic though. If they find him useful at some point, they would flip back very quickly to utilize any brownie points.

What Mitt did may be embarrassing to them now, but only because it is in the public eye. This kind of thing would normally stay within the church community, in which case it wouldn't be frowned upon.

How any woman who hasn't been brainwashed by right wing, patriarchal churches
can vote for this man is beyond me.

My RW friends are horrified I have been pointing this to them. Now we find good and wonderful helpful Mitt also applies sharia laws. He is the one close to the Muslim faith and I tell them Mitt is the Muslim in this race. Now maybe the Muslim hatred can wrap their around Mitt. The Mormons also participated in slaughtering many on 9 11
