Regarding the hanky/paper/alleged cheat sheet.
When the campaign was asked if they were pushing the story, Ben Labolt, National Press Secretary for OFA, said..
Weve never casted our lot with the tinfoil hat crowd.
Sure it was Fox News who prompted the comment from Labolt, by asking a ridiculous question. But there you go, more bashing from people whose side we are on.
How about just saying, no we did not push the story??

Someone needs to tell Ben Labolt, whoever he is, that the past tense of "cast" is "cast".

Now the R's have 'Birthers', "Truthers' etc - which they embrace.
It's a double standard. But the cheating thing was pretty silly.

(2,774 posts)14. It's a toughie. R's are just expected to be crazy now.
So they get away with birther crap, jobless numbers wrong, polls wrong type of talk.
Dem's don't.
So LaBolt played it safe on Fox News. Can't scare the Fox News crowd, they may not vote for Obama.

I've never been part of a tinfoil hat crowd before
I still think there's something to the story, but the time has passed and I don't care.
But hey, free tinfoil hat.
