She said she had a lot of fun answering their questions. I'm wondering if one of the questions was whether or not she was old enough to vote.
She says she doesn't know who it was doing the polling and when I asked her if they were leading questions she really didn't know what I meant by that. Darn.

(30,151 posts)It didn't show up on caller id. Maybe it will show up on her phone records though. I'll log in to AT&T and see.

(60,536 posts)that one call does a lot to undermine the validity of polls.
I agree that she should have told them she was a minor but I didn't find out about the call until it was completed. There are a lot of children and teenagers with cell phones and if she had been at school today she'd have gotten in trouble for the call. I guess there is no way of knowing which cell phone numbers belong to minors though.

(60,536 posts)your daughter. If the comment came across that way, I sincerely apologize. My focus was more to the issue of how the polling firm undermines its own credibility by polling our rug rats!
I did not take offense or take your comment in a negative manner. Since they didn't poll me and she probably just parroted things she's heard me say it was actually fairly accurate but they should be taking steps to avoid polling minors.
