Mr. Romney, I have a pre-existing health situation....
Sure, I could go to an Emergency Room when I can't breath and they will give me a breathing treatment some musinex and send me on my way...
If that was the extent of my illness, I can sure see that happening.
But I can assure you this, there would not be any investigation beyond the level of my Ox and that I could breath. You see they are obligated to "treat" someone with an emergency but they are not under any obligation to hold them one minute longer than absolutely necessary.
If I had happened to be in that situation without an insurance plan, I can tell you no one would be testing me for a possible Lung Transplant. The Hospital would never look into a lung transplant for an indigent patient who had to go to the ER to get stabilized.
And even if I wanted to get insurance, the physical that they use to require for people of my age who had not carried unbroken insurance coverage for my whole life would either make my rates sky high or just flat out deny me any coverage.
So tell me again why you think people wont die if Obamacare is overturned.
Mr. Romney, people like me would never be put on any transplant list. So I have to ask, wouldn't that be condemning people like me to almost certain death?
