I didn't watch the live debate last week...and I'm not watching it tonight

Call me a weenie, call me a wimp. I made the decision last week to save my wits, nerves, years off my life, etc. I went to the Casino and had a few drinks, lost a few bucks and secluded myself from the world of internet and other media. It was so nice not to be pacing, hollering, cussing, freaking out my wife and kids.

About 10:30 I tuned into DU and saw the disappointment. Although I didn't like seeing the President did poorly, but it was easier to take that info on DU than by watching the live event.

I'll be reading a Jason Bourne book tonight and will be tuned into DU post debate. GO JOE!!

I watched last week and it reminded me why I didn't watch any of the debates in '08. They just work my last nerve. I think I'll just sit at my computer and monitor the reactions on DU and spare myself the blood pressure spikes.

right at the point DU let us switch names and they caught Bush drinking at
the Olympics in China. Changed it from Laura PackYourBags which was
selected when I thought the 2004 election would be overturned and George
would tell Laura to get ready. haha

and I think that became irresistible fodder for Monday morning quarterbacking.
