(20,998 posts)...they tend to have a bigger perspective of the issues because they chew on them all day. When I watch Big Ed talk about Rmoney and his lies, there is not a shadow of doubt in my mind that he is not thoroughly disgusted with Rmoney, Lyin' and the rethuglican agenda. Absolutely no doubt.
I think they believed President Obama should have been able to wipe the floor with Willard Rmoney. And you know, he probably could have. I think Obama was under the impression the debate was going to be a real debate between two gentlemen vying for the same public office. I don't think Obama counted on every other word out of Rmoney's mouth being a lie.
Let me be frank: I think Willard was drugged up on Provigil for debate one. I also think he had a crib sheet hidden under the hanky, and went to lengths to make sure everyone saw the hanky.

(47,953 posts)The Media are slathering so much expecting "gaffes" from Biden they look like a bunch of dogs in heat. I think they will just make up shit if Joe doesn't oblige them. He could say something like "I'm proud to be Barack Obama's Vice President" and they would turn it into a 'gaffe'.
