If "Liar" is too difficult to get past the lips...

I understand the political abhorrence of the L word, but avoiding the word should not require avoiding the concept.

Is what Romney said a lie? (Insert pretty much anything Romney has ever said.)

"Well, it is not true. It is false. And Governor Romney knew when he said it that it was false, and he does not tell the truth because he is trying to deceive the voters... to take advantage of people who might trust his word. And you can call that anything you want."

I think the point can be made w/o using the L word. He does market research and then takes a position based on the data.

If O can make that case... and if the 'undecideds" can grasp it... he can connect the dots by making the case that there's no way to predict what Romney will do once he has power..... since he has no fixed ideas or philosophy. And THAT is dangerous.

O's got to hammer him on the flip-flops. Hammer him and hammer him and hammer him some more.

For decorum purposes, they're "flip-flops"; not lies.
