First, it's only 0.3% which isn't exactly earth shattering although at least going in the right direction. I suppose that since it went under 8% it was noticable.
But all these conspiracy theorists acting all shocked and what not, it's almost like they KNEW something was happening that would make the rate stay the same or get worse. It's like fixing the lottery to pull your number and then another number shows up instead. Then acting all outraged because it wasn't your number.
I'm not good at playing conspiracy theory games here but these people questioning the Unemployment rate seem like they knew something was going to happen to increase the numbers and were very surprised when that didn't happen.
Anyone else sensing that??!!

(52,262 posts)in fact the number wasn't a surprise at all, it was roughly in line with what was anticipated.
i think the right-wing response was a prepared strategy to discredit the number to avoid letting obama have a victory on the "economy" issue.
