Freepers and other pro-Life Conservatives are apoplectic about Romney's abortion flip-flops

It has to be awful to have a weasely, lying, no good flip-flopper as the standard bearer of your party.

One of the smartest posts I've ever seen a Freeper make:

Mittens sure is the master of getting things both ways. He says there is no legislation “he knows of” that he would promote, but then he can still say that if there is legislation he’ll support it. IOW, it begs the listener to hear what they want to hear.

“Imagine, we’re totally on a roll, and all of a sudden abortion again raises its ugly ready to sink our ship. “

It wouldn’t sink our ship if Romney hasn’t been lying about his positions since even before the primaries. If this was clear from day one, it wouldn’t be a problem now. It’s a problem now because the loser does everything in his power to take both sides of the position. He can only do that for so long before someone pushes him on it and he says something stupid, even more stupid than the double-speak we see here.

5. Not true. There is a significant segment of the GOP for whom this is their only issue.

If they think he will not take any action on abortion they WILL stay home.

These folks are serious about this. Some medical practitioners have found that out the hard way.

3. I'm amazed they even acknowledge his flip flops.

They're usually immune to anything said by a repub that may harm the campaign. You know, the, "Lalala, I can't hear you!" approach. [img][/img] The mature way of handling life. [img][/img]

You can flip flop on many other issues, but not this one.

6. How annoying that they care more about the fetus then the children who are born

Are these people willing to feed 50million children and help provide the money for healthcare and education?

Once these fetuses are born they become obsolete to the right-wing and many time part of a group of people that the right-wing will denounce and insult.

And 50million is a joke of a number unless they are counting those 'lost' because birth control was used.

Romney, the loser is doing everything and anything to win voters at this late date.

9. Yeah, RaisingCain does not seem to be your average Freeper. He had two pretty intelligent posts

in that exchange.

Then again, Romney isn't subtle about flip flopping and talking out of both sides of his mouth. I'd be pretty upset if we had a Democratic nominee who acted the same way from the other side.
