With all the fixes which are in place for the Rethugs and their history of Rethuggery, did you really think that this election would be a runaway? Really? They have more tricks than you have hair on your head and will stop at nothing to win. Do you realize that they:
1. Make ballots illegible
2. Make precincts which have more Dems have fewer machines and thus longer lines
3. Purge voter rolls
4. Attempt to eliminate early voting
5. Challenge credentials of voters
6. Have bags of votes disappear e.g. Volusia County, FL in 2000
7. Stop the counting of ballots
8. Invent the software and own the voting machines
9. Claim that the opposition candidate lied about his/her residence/place of birth
10. Generally lie through their teeth
11. Own the media, literally.
Democrats, on the other hand,
1. Wail and complain about all of the above
2. Offer to drive voters to the polls so they can wait in lines and (see above list of atrocities)
3. Register new voters so that they can (see above)
4. Volunteer to concede as quickly as possible in close elections (see Ed "Gore should quit now" Rendell in 2000
5. Gnash their teeth and say that their message was fuzzy/murky/too complex/not stressed enough.
So when they said that the President was 12 points ahead in Ohio, did you really think that it would stay that way? How many men ogled Palin's legs, such as they are - not that great anyway, and say that they were voting for the Fossil McCain? "Many" is the answer.
